Title: sme5.6beta - smtp authentification ?

Question to sme5.6beta : does it include smtp authentification ? FYI - I am using this at home for testing. have already in the office one sme55 production server running ( not for email handling ).

There is no 5.6beta yet, just two alpha releases.

As it says in the release notes, there are no new features, the only significant difference is the change in kernel version - which entails lots of other little changes.

I think that the SMTP authentication add-on package by Damien Curtain will work with 5.6.

That's great - the more testing the better. Remember that the testing is only useful if you report anything that doesn't work as you expect to bugs@e-smith.com. Remember to put [5.6] on the subject line.
