Hello
Somehow my system has ended up with the following template directories:
/etc/e-smith/templates
/etc/e-smith/templates-custom
/etc/e-smith/templates-default
/etc/e-smith/templates-user
/etc/e-smith/templates-user-custom
The documentation at http://www.e-smith.org/docs/papers/templates.html suggests any customisation should be in /etc/e-smith/templates-custom. Should I move all customisation fragments to that tree and delete /etc/e-smith/templates-user and /etc/e-smith/templates-user-custom? What about /etc/e-smith/templates-default?

/etc/e-smith/templates-user are used to generate default files/profiles etc. for each new user & also have a user-custom for your customised version of those templates. I haven't had reason to amend those, but I guess there can be..... Just leave them there if you don't need to change anything.
