Title: QoS question..
Post by: Petrisor on October 11, 2002, 09:45:43 PM
I have one SME with 2 network card.One to ISP and the other to my local network.
eth0->ISP
eth1->lan

My ISP connection is 128K.(eth0=81.x.x.x)
Eth1=10.0.x.x
I have 6 client on my lan.(first_client=192.168.2.3;sec_client=192.168.3.3,etc)
I want to share my ISP band with all 6 client,but i want to do a dinamic shaping.
I want to waranty a minimum bandwith/client with possibility to grow up if the other
client don't surf on the net.

it's possible to do this on SME?
If it possible,please send me a example script.

Best regards,
Petrisor

I have a feeling that the next version of e-smith will support what u want to do as it has a new kernel which supports shaping

Could be wrong though
