Title: NEW USER ACCT PROB

I can't add a user that I had previuosly deleted, error message is:

Error:  the  account  "amelia" can't be created because there is already a user-deleted account of that name.

Pls help! I have searched the web for help but no luck so far.

Have you tried searching the forums?  I'm pretty sure a search on "user-deleted" would find the answer...

Yes Dan, I had tried searching the forums and the net. I just did another search on the forums and the only results were my original post and your reply!

Pls help as I have a user that can't get emails until this is resolved.

You need to be sure to set it to search "all dates", not just the last 30 days.

make sure you set the forum search to be more than just "30 days".

Hey forum admin, can this be the default? search all messages?

How many times has this come up, and people been bitten?
