Title: USB printer and SME 5.5 missingprinter error

Hi

I installed SME 5.5 and it's working fine, except for printing. I connect my HP OfficeJet G95 on the USB port of my SME server and configure it through the server manager ... It completes without errors.

On the Windows clients, I install the printers as a local port pointing to my server, \obiwan\hpg95 ...

When I send a print job, the SME tries to queue but doesn't print ... I start 'top' and see that 2 lpd processes are on top and active. When I run 'lpq' I get an error that 'missingprinter' cannot be found ... It talks about the port /dev/usb/lp0 ...

What's going wrong here? Is this a Samba issue?

I have the same problem and till now i saw no other thread, solving this prob.
