I am a rookie in using E-smith (linux). The version 4.1.1 works fine, but i want to configure an LDAP adressbook for my company (all the users accessable). How can i do that when i am using MS Outlook. Where can i find the database and how can i edit or make a new company adressbook.
Who can help me. (where can i find information on the internet about this topic?
I hope somebody can help me!
Regards

Dirk-Jan,
e-smith builds LDAP entries automatically as part of the process of adding users to the server (see http://www.e-smith.org/docs/manual/4.1/admin-useraccounts.html). The manual also provides set-up for Netscape users. I've documented an Outlook Express configuration process, which you are welcome to if you wish.

I think he means an extended LDAP addressbook, not just system users, some thing that Rolodap might provide - I'd like the same but don't know how to get there either.
