Title: Samba Faxing

Is there any experience on this list with Samba Faxing?

There is a document on the e-smith 4.1.1 in

/usr/share/doc/samba-2.0.7/docs/textdocs/Faxing.txt

which describes the subject.

I saw that there is usually some experience with HylaFax, but using Samba for faxing seems to be more usable to me.

Any suggestions?

have beenn looking at different faxing options.

Am going to check out respond and Multifax

there is a good article from Linux Journal

on using this and setting up with windows clients.

I will let you know how it goes.  I do know faxing from a computer can be fussy regarding modems and that some modems have a greater reliability when connecting to a wider variety of fax machines than other modems do.
