Hi,
I have created a .procmailrc in my home directory and changed the owner and group to me. I have also input the following in it.
# Setup
SHELL=/bin/sh
MAILDIR=${HOME}
LOGFILE=${MAILDIR)/procmail.log
LOG="--- Logging ${LOGFILE} for ${LOGNAME}, "
:O:
* ^TO_debian.user@lists\.debian\.org
Debian
I have a mailbox called and the file permissions are read/write for me, read for my group and evry one else.
My problem is that I get all my files from the debian mailing list in the Inbox folder and no log file is created. It is almost like the file isn't being accessed.
I'm running V5.5 with the latest blade, other than that there are no changes.
What am I doing wrong and how can I get it to work.
If you want I can supply any requested information to help with the problem.
Thanks
Craig

I suggest you visit the link below, read the Howto and install the user-manager package which provides a procmail panel interface:

Cool! I have installed and all seems well.
Thanks once again.
I have to admit that this is not the first time that your and your HOWTO's/programs have helped me.
I will let you know how it gets on.
Thanks a lot.

It's working as far as mails for one e-mail address are sent to the correct folder, but mails that are defined by subject don't work.
All that happens is that all mails get trapped by the first subject rule and put into that folder.
Other mail rules below the first subject rule aren't even reached.
Thanks
Craig
