Hi,

I gave it a try...

Installing went well, but now for the .htaccess thing. Never did that so...

Any body cares for expaling the .htaccess / htpasswd 'thing'

Don't bother. An appropriate template fragment for /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf is all you need. You'll probably just need a    Location block defining appropriate access rules.

I have it going in an iBay. It looks quite powerfull and appears to have a significant learning curve. The more I play with it the more I am interested.

Thanks

I installed that one, examined the contents (templates) and understand it.

But still get:

Glen,

- Did you made the custom entries in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf ?
- Did you restart httpd (service restart httpd) ?

As Kees writes in his how-to, that is a quick hack to see if you can get it to work. If so, you have to write custom templates and leave the original alone.
