Title: Bogus eMail Address
Post by: Jim Goode on November 02, 2002, 03:24:26 AM
I created an account, named "info", but when I send a message to it I get a returned failure message saying that "username-info@gotolearn.org" does not exist.

I totally agree, since I did not create a username-info account.

History: I originally created "info" as a group but had to change it to an account so that it could be used to originate eMail messages. I'm guessing that the SME server created some file entries behind the scenes that I don't know about. How do I clear out whatever may have been created for me?

Thanks,
Jim

Just a suggestion check the Pseudonyms and check what ones are created for your info account.  Also you could create a new pseudonym for 'info' and point it at and existing user account.
