Title: Undoing Darrel's backup to disk
Post by: Jean on November 02, 2002, 04:29:17 AM
Using Darrel May's HowTo, I have been using flexbackup to backup the entire disk to an NT backup server.  It's worked flawlessly for the longest time.  However, now I need to remove the settings so I can add a scsi DDS3 tape drive.  I figured I would simply delete the custom template, then re-expand the default templates.  Is this workable?  Also, what do you change the $device variable back to?  Will /mnt/sda0 do the trick?

Thanks for in advance for your advices.

If you mean this HowTo:

Please credit the correct author, Des Dougan.  I merely assisted.

If you are switching to a SCSI tape drive, switch the device to /dev/nst0, remove all the custom template fragments and expand all templates.

Thanks, Darrell.  Sorry, Des. I have scheduled an eye doctor appointment.
