Title: checkpoint vpn secure remote
Post by: bud on November 15, 2002, 07:08:48 PM
Is there any reason you can think of that only one of clients would be able to vpn out at a time using checkpoint's secure remote vpn?  The first person to connect works great.  Port 500 UDP is open.

After that, all that try to connect are unable to do so.

I have no firsthand experience with Checkpoint, but with PPTP VPNs you can only establish one connection per client-server IP pair. If you have two clients on a NAT network behind a single public IP address, only one will work since the server sees both requests as coming from the same IP.

I can't say for sure, but it might be something like that...

It's just that the Whistle Interjet use to support multiple Checkpoint Secure Remote connections... and SME5 doesn't.  hmmm...

Thanks for your feedback, Bill.
