Title: Black Flag on the RAID
Post by: Kenneth Pepiton on December 02, 2002, 06:54:21 PM
When we setup the RAID in the initial setup we thought we wouldn't have anything to worry about.  We were wrong of course and we need to get more space in but instead of trying to replace the RAID we want to un-RAID the drives bring in a new drive and move the existing data in the /home dir to another drive and mount as such.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated,
Kenny

Well its just a case of killing the raid /etc/raidtab making new entries in /etc/fstab

there are several post here about putting a 2 Drive in.....

i would recommend doing a full backup before you try any of this though......
