Title: SME / RAV and Delegate mail server
Post by: benja on December 06, 2002, 03:58:28 AM
Hi all,
I plan to install a SME box as a firewall to protect my ADSL internet connection. I've already got a Lotus Notes Server. I would like my SME box retrieve my email, do a first AntiVirus analyse and then push them to the lotus notes server.

I saw that in sme, it's easy to configure a delegate mail server (from the panel manager). If i do that (say that my lotus server is my delegate mail serveur), and if i install RAV for exemple, will my sme box check my mail for virus before sending them to the sme box ?

Thanks,
benja

I believe it does. Search the forms. This very question came up not very, very long ago.
