Title: USB ALCATEL ADSL MODEM

Hi I need to get a Usb Alcatel adsl modem working on sme 5.5. I have very little experience with linux but have used sme many times and love it. I would like detailed instructions on how to get the modem going including installing the modem drivers under linux. If I could get this I would be very appreciative.. by the way i need detailed instructions

Rather than making a post titled "USB ALCATEL ADSL MODEM", you should have searched for that same phrase. The results will provide lots of information and a HowTo.

and if anyone wants one of these modems for themselves and would care to make me an offer I have 2 spare atm.

My colleague, Tim Haynes recently replied to your email for 2 Alcatel modems for sale; one hiself and the other for me.

Are these still available as he has tried contacting you to find out?
