Title: FTP-Access

hi!

i´ve installed e-smith server in it runs great as a webserver!

now tried to connect to the ftp-port of the server. but when my ftp-client asks me for a password and login, always after entering the correct login and password, it tells me that the log-in is incorrect!

i tried the same in the lan, in which the server is involved, and it works, but not from the internet!

any ideas?

Have a look in the manger console
at the remoot acces, -FTP user account access:  PrivatePublic

Private works on your lan
Public works anywhere

and Don't change the settings underneath to no acces as this overides the other setting (private/public) I think
