Title: Raid configuration error?
Post by: Ale on December 13, 2002, 12:44:41 AM
Hi again:
I've been trying to mount my new second drive.
but it seems i've made a mistake in the hotadd sequence
the report of my raid status is  as follows

[root@server root]# cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid1]
read_ahead 1024 sectors
md2 : active raid1 hdc1[1] hda1[0] 264960 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md0 : active raid1 hdc6[2] hdc5[3] hda6[1] hda5[0] 15936 blocks [2/2] [UU]
md1 : active raid1 hdc7[1] hda7[0] 3975936 blocks [2/2] [UU]
unused devices:

could it be possible md0 with 4 partitions????
system seems to be al right but I really dont know.
As newbie as always.....
I've been looking for raid reports like mine, in forums, no luck
I've tryed to stop raid an restart: "/dev/md0: Device or resource busy"
I've also tryed to hotremove partitions from md0: same as above
Of course I have a recent backup,( just in case of reinstalling my sme ;-) )
new year is in few weeks and maybe is a good time for a fresh start!!
Any help would be very apreciated!
Ale
