Title: magick for Yappa

Hi,

I've been bashing my head against the wall for a couple of days now going round in circles trying to get the images (other than original size) showing using yappa.

I've followed the how-to by Eric Womack, spent hours reading through messages on these boards, and on sourceforge.  I think I know what the problem is (other than me) I havent got ImageMagick installed.  Simple eh ??

I'm having trouble satisfying an endless loop of dependancies, I am doing something stupid here, or just simply missing something ?

I'm even running into issues with a list of exactly what to install posted by STEVE in this very forum.

Any help greatly appreciated.  

I'm running SMEServer v5.0 Update 4.

Have you considered upgrading? That release can no longer be considered secure, and nobody that I know is producing updates for it.

I too nearly went berserk trying to get Yappa to work on a 5.1.2 server and ended up being VERY happy with Gallery.

I use Yappa without ImageMagic with some minor changes. Have a look at

That got the thumbnails working just great.  I will be updating my SME probably next week, but at last i can now see the photos.

BJ,

Let me know whether updating removes the problem. As I see it then Yappa requests functions from GD 2.x which is not finished and does not run on SME 5.x.
