Title: Old Samba question - still looking for answer
Post by: Drew on January 03, 2003, 05:57:18 AM
Hello everyone,

Is it possible to upgrade Samba 2.2.2 on SME 5.0 to the latest version of Samba?  If so, how?

What about just to a more recent version than 2.2.2?

I know...I know...everyone is going to say "It's time to upgrade to 5.5...since 5.6 is soon going to be realeased." - but that's not the answer to this question.

Thanks in advance.

Drew

Ulises...thanks.  BUT, I had tried Darrell's 2.2.5 install back in the summer and that didn't work.  Do you have a SME 5.0 server running his latest Samba package?

no at this moment, why you don't upgrade?
