Title: modem dialup WFDT

please can anyone give me some advice/guidance on how I can get the modem dialup to wait for dialtone before ouplusing DTMF?? I have a line thats shared with a fax, and many times now the sme server trys to dialout when the line is in use, so it blindly dials dtmf without waiting for dialtone and hence screws up both connections.

Try doing a Google search for init strings for your modem model.
