Hello,
I have SME Server 5.6beta7 running. How can I redirect an incoming TCPIP connect (from internet) on port 4000 to a specific machine in the localnet ?
INTERNET(*.*.*.*)
-->tcp4000-->SMEServer
-->forwardingto-->SME Client machine(ip 192.168.0.5)
Part 2:
---------
Portforwarding incoming UDP port 5000 to a specific machine ?
INTERNET(0.0.0.0)
-->tcp4000-->SMEServer
-->forwardingto-->SME Client machine(ip 192.168.0.5)
I have ADSL (PPPoe) running 24h/7d IP change every 24 hours due to dynamic ip addressing. How can I permanently bind the portdirecting to the system ?
Please help, THANK YOU !!
Greetings

By installing the e-smith-portforwarding rpm found on ftp.e-smith.org under 5.6dev/updates.

Hi Lancer,
I haven't installed that update, but I think you just run the RPM and then go to the server manager and I'll see that you have a new menu relating to Port Forwarding.

You can't forward UDP ports, you can only open them.
Use the port opening server-manager panel for that. You can find it in the contributed rpm's.
