Title: User email password reset.
Post by: Eric on January 17, 2003, 02:28:05 AM
Is there a way to allow the users to change their initial password that I create, to a password of their choice?  I want them to be able to do it themselves, without my knowledge.  Is this possible?

Thanks,

Eric

Have you considered taking a look at the manual?  Perhaps http://edocs.mitel.com/6000_SME_Server/smeserveruserguide/English/admin-useraccounts.html#user-passwords might help...

The user can VPN in to the server and then change their password.

Establish the VPN connection and then go to http://XXX.XXX.X.X/user-password (use your servers IP address).
