Title: Require Auth to send mail
Post by: raymondh on January 18, 2003, 02:21:04 AM
Is there a way to require internal clients to use a password to send mail through the SME server?

For example, in outlook express you have the option to enter a username and password for the outgoing server.  I would like to require this before the SME server will accept an outgoing message.

Thanks,

Ray

http://www.stickit.nu/pop-before-smtp

See link if you're 5.5 or 5.5+, else you need to use pop-before-smtp.
