Title: Install Question

Hi All,

I have a server running 5.6rev7, i have just downloaded the new 5.6 release and burnt it to CD.

Heres my question, i have no monitor connected to my server, is there a way i can put the CD in the system SSH to it and upgrade ?

Just take the monitor off your workstation for a few minutes and do the upgrade...  I'm sure you won't miss it.  My upgrade from beta7 to 5.6 only upgraded 60 packages...

I'd expect that you could just mount the cd, rpm -Fvh *, signal-event post-upgrade, and reboot.  However, I haven't tried it, or heard any definite statement that it's OK.
