Title: rsync
Post by: Peter Garbaek on January 20, 2003, 05:37:09 PM
I am going to setup a remote server thats gonna be a mirror of my primary server @ work.. now i could do a desktop backup and email the file, then restore it on the remote location, but 200mb every day is really alot to email / ftp..

So i been doing some reading about rsync, but im not sure exatly what folders on my SME to backup.. i looked for mini how-to´s about SME and Rsyncbut i could not get my hands on some that really explained this..

Does anyone have experince i doing a rsync to a remote server so it becomes a complete mirror of my primary server..

and please dont tell me to do a "man rsync" :o)

Thanks in advance
