Title: SMTP Auth from the E-smith SERVER
Post by: Stefan Braunstein on January 22, 2003, 02:28:39 PM
Hi everybody!

I know there are different approaches to use SMTP Auth from the client to the SME Server, but *I* need an auth from my SME Server to the Relay Server  of my ISP, which only  supports SMTP Auth.

In the meantime I use the SMTP Auth server from my ISP directly in my mail client.

Thanks. This was exactly, what I searched for. If I had spelled the users file correctly, it would have worked in 5 minutes

I have the how-to.  For some reason the author took it down.  I don't feel comfortable posting it on the web, but if you email me, I will send it to you.
