Title: Frontpage Log On
Post by: Robert Schutz on January 24, 2003, 04:05:51 AM
I want to maintain pages via FrontPage ext. on my ISP's server. On visiting pages using NT authentication I am asked for username and pass several times without any progress at all.

Anyone have an answer for this one?

Thanks in advance.
Robert

Try entering in the ISPs NT domain as part of your login (eg. MYDOMAIN\USERNAME ). Maybe the login is default to your local domain (which has no trust relationship with the ISPs) and thus failing.

My other guess would be that NT authentication utilises a port that's closed.
(but that only a very very rough guess)

Luke

Robert,

SME does not come with Front Page extensions installed.  Have a look at this FAQ:
