Title: osCommerce Install Problem

I'm trying to install oscommerce on esmith 5.5 following the howto guide
http://www.acenet-tech.org/cdj/osCommerce_on-SME_howto/osCommerce-on-SME_5.5-how-to.htm I stuck trying to figure out the answers to the new install of oscommerce page.

Does anyone have a screen shot or a list of the correct  values for the install?

I found that using "localhost"  was what I was missing.

Catalog comes up but admin is down. I found a message about oscommerce database errors I will try.

Are you using https://  when accessing /admin?

It appears that the configure.php in the /admin/includes does not contain the correct database settings. Add them manually at it will be up and running.

Yes, I'm going to try and set the settings for /admin/includes/configure.php manaully.

I'm not having any luck getting the admin page to come up.

Is an oscommerce rpm with instructions availabe?
