I was wondering if anyone knows where and how to add or modify a line in the e-smith server so that it will disconnect in less than 20 minutes of inactivity?
I bought the cdrom for the office, where we have a dedicated line, but I decided to try it at home first...it's a great product...but with teenagers who jump on and off their computers every few minutes, the 20 minute idle inactivity timer virtually guarantees that our phone line is never available for phone calls!
I'm looking for a place to put something like "idle 45" as is an option in Slackware's demand dial.
Thanks...

Go to http://www.e-smith.org/ and you will find fairly detailed
design information for the e-smith server, and hints about how to go about modifying it. You will need to modify either diald.conf or diald.filter in /etc/e-smith/templates/etc
and then run:
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save
