Title: mySQL access after 5.6 upgrade
Post by: nigel on February 06, 2003, 02:32:41 AM
I've just upgraded to 5.6 and now I'm having trouble using connecting to mySQL from hosts on my local network with mySQLfront or mySQL Control Centre.  phpmyAdmin works fine as do all my database driven web pages.  I get "error 2013 lost connection to host during query" when connecting.  My user privilages have entries for both localhost and % host values for the user doing the connect.  any clues? I could be just missing something obvious.

Result.

Thanks Pual I'd not spotted that thread in my search. I just used Charlies command from that thread and problem solved.

Thanks Charlie for the neat fix.
