Title: identd.masq problem
Post by: JeffC on February 12, 2003, 05:15:47 PM
I keep getting these errors every few minutes in my log files.

Feb 12 07:04:38 dev identd[5854]: missing parameter in /etc/identd.masq: #------------------------------------------------------------
Feb 12 07:04:38 dev identd[5854]: Returned: 61082 , 143 : NO-USER
Feb 12 07:08:33 dev identd[5984]: missing parameter in /etc/identd.masq: #------------------------------------------------------------
Feb 12 07:08:33 dev identd[5984]: Returned: 61118 , 143 : NO-USER

I have taken a look into /etc/identd.masq and everything looks correct in that all users in the subnet are defined.

10.1.1.1        user1           UNIX
10.1.1.2        user2           UNIX
10.1.1.3        user3           UNIX
10.1.1.4        user4           UNIX
10.1.1.5        user5           UNIX

...etc through .254

Any ideas?

Thanks,

-jeff

Sorry, some further searching showed this thread:

But with no resolution to the issue....:<   Has anyone figured this out yet?

P.S. I think this is a "General Discussion" topic.
