Post by: Judy Morgan on February 12, 2003, 11:23:12 PM
Hi all,
i have installed the new 5.6 version of e-smith. everytime a client connects via ppptp i get the following message/zombie: ip-up defunct
and after 2-5 minutes the connections crashs.
somebody has an idea? there is nothing wrong in the log files.

Thanks Kevin for your help!

but the solution doesnt work. I have tested on four machines the same problem. After an outside pptp connection there is the zombie after 5 sec and the connection hangs after 1 minute.
is it possible to reinstall RPMS from RedHat 8?

tia and best regards
