What is the best way to share cdrom drives using e-smith. Do I have to copy the samba config file and add the drives manualy or is there a better way ?
Thanks

Install e-smith-sharedcdrom-0.1-1.noarch.rpm which will share the local cdrom drive on the e-smith server via samba.

I installed this RPM and mounted a CD but I do not see the CD in the network places as a share .
The RPM created a sharedcdrom file in the template directory and it seems to be installed correctly. I did not see any docs to this RPM so I may be missing something ???
Thanks

Do a console-save "/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save"
"/sbin/service smb restart"

Shared CD-ROM works fine. I have 1 IDE CD-ROM (shared now) and 4-SCSI CD-ROMs in the e-smith server.
Is there any way to share the SCSI CD's?
