Title: powstatd and sola UPS

Just a short note for those who might be trying to get a sola UPS 305 working with the excellent howto of powstad at http://www.e-smith.org/docs/howto/contrib/powstatdUPSHOWTOv5.5v5.6.txt

Try using
/sbin/e-smith/db configuration set powstatd service \
watch ttyS0 init0 rts init1 dtr fail dsr,1 kill rts,1 low cts,1

it works for me :-)

Dean
There appears to be a problem with the powstatd not restarting after a reboot.
Try
/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop powstatd status enabled
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save

The HOWTO will be updated asap.

Dean,
are you using a native cable which is supplied with SOLA 305 UPS?
Mine seems to me doesn't work :-(:

CTS    DSR    DCD    RNG
  0        0          0        0

If your cable differ, could you please give a details.
