Title: VPN connection on SME5.5 using standalone PC

To all,

      Has anyone try installing vpn connection on SME 5.5 accessing using windows pc with ipsec enable on the e-smith server.
     Right now I just want to connect my windows pc which is on another location accessing sme 5.5 which is also on a different location using ipsec not pptp.
   
     By the way this my setup.


      pc1 ...   pc2.... pc3....pc4
                      |
                      |
                SME 5.5 server
                      |
                      |
                INTERNET
                      |
                      |
                Watchguard firewall
                      |
                      |
           win98.....

I don't think Win98 supports IPSec without extra software. Is there some problem you have with using PPTP?

Bill,

            I think there's no problem with pptp I just want make much secure connection with my sme 5.5 server because ipsec must secure than pptp.
