Hey folks I just got a DLT tape drive at work for my backups so I can backups our nt and linux servers onto one drive. I am looking for sugestions for software packages that works on SME 5.6
Tonight I'm doing the standard backup of just the server that has SME 5.6 to make sure the tape drive is working properly.
Thanks

Have a look at Arkeia (www.arkeia.com). Shad Lords has created SME RPMs (lordsfam.net) for v4.2 of Arkeia, which, AFAIK, don't include a NT client. Version 5 does enable Windows backups, too.

Arkeia v4.2 does include a java windows interface, windows clients are available and you can actually back up 2 windows clients as long as they aren't servers under the free license.
I'm working on v5.1 integration with sme but I'm not really motivated until they release a gui client that will run under both windows and linux.
