Title: no internet on 5.6

I installed sme 5.6 and the server works fine, but it doesn't detect the internet.

Please help

Eeuuhmmm....we need some more info before we can actually help you. Did you check the logfiles yet?

Anyway, what kind of internet connection do you use? Modem? DSL? (pppoe? pppoa? static-ip?) Cable? T1?

who is your internet provider?

Eli is short for Eliazer. I am using cable (dhcp send ethernet address as client id).
Cable provider is optushome. An ozzie company.

The internet work fine on the same line when I had sme 4.1.

I believe MOST errors with 5.6 and internet can be solved that way!

It seems SME changed the way of configuration and made a stupid bug in the script configuring the auth...
