Title: FTP Port

Hi All,

Can someone tell me how to change the default port on E-smith 5.6.

 i would like to change it from port 21 to 81

Edit /etc/proftpd.conf
do a service restart for proftpd
Check if everithing is working the way you want
Then edit the template :
/etc/e-smith/templates/etc/proftpd.conf/05port
and replace 21 with whatever you want

You're right, I've forgot standard sme proftpd is not a standalone ...., got to edit the xinetd template ... sorry about that :)
