Title: XP Authenication
Post by: Rance on March 08, 2003, 11:12:57 PM
Please forgive me if this has been answered...I've searched and searched and I can't seem to find it.  All of our workstations were 98SE or ME but I have now installed one freash with XP Pro.  I was able to join the domain but can't log on. Actually, during the install it asks if I want to add the PC to the domain, I choose yes and then I get that darn trust relationship error. So I logged on locally, added the PC to the domain,  got the welcome message and rebooted.  When the PC comes back up, I get a domain not available error. So I log on locally and it gives me the mapped drives not connected.  I click on them and put unam/pw in and there they are.  Also, we are using roaming profiles.  I set another xp box up one time a few months back, had a hard time of it but it would actually log me in. I don't remember what I did to make it work.  It's driving me crazy!
