I did a clean install of 5.6, then typed in all the users, resources and printers. The Win2K admin machine now shows all printers that run through the SME to print servers as "access denied". These printers do print, and you can double-click them to see the print queue. However, in the printer definition, there are no "ports" specified, and the "add port" button is disabled. If you add a new printer, you can browse to it on the list of SME printers, but after you are finished, the new printer also says "access denied" in Win2K, and shows no ports used. I've upgraded to Samba 2.2.7a (thanks Charlie) but that helped not at all. Any ideas anyone? The admin machine with std login has full rights on the SME server. TIA.

Thanks Hsing Foo. I did look through the forums, and while a number of people had some ideas, I didn't find any solutions that appeared to work. Of course, I was making changes remotely using pcanywhere and putty, so maybe something will work if I am onsite and hands-on. I'll let you know.
Regards,
Tom
