Title: Web Manager through the internet
Post by: Dustin on April 29, 2001, 01:49:10 PM
The other question I had, was - is it possible to access the web manager through the internet itself? If you use the external IP, and go to the http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/e-smith-manager, it trys to move it over to the internal netowrk IP.... is there a way to set it up to have access through the internet?

Thanks.

Dustin

I tried this... I have a mac for my work station, and I tired setting up the port forwarding using MACssh... but I could not get it to work.

I must be missing a setting then.

Does anyone else use MACssh for tunneling?

I'm kind of surprised there is not an easier way to accomplish this.
