All,
I would like to add a standard footer to all e-mail sent through our server. We are running E-Smith 5.6. Is there an easy way to do this, ie edit a few config files, or is it more complex? I have had a look through the forums but can't find anything relevant.
Regards

Mark,
The only way I know how to do this is to use stationary, but that is because I only have to use Lookout or Lookout Express, (Outlook). I didnt think there was a way of adding to the body of emails automatically with the server.

Hi Cyrus,

I believe it is possible. Need to read Life With Qmail or something like that, then stuff around with some files, etc. etc. :)
When I was working with MDaemon before, this was trivial (as was any number of other mail server setting as it was all there - hence the advantage of a GUI driven package). RTFM ? Pfft ! Why bother ? Most of the settings in MDaemon was fairly obvious, just look at the menus and tabs !
QMail can do it too, but you need to stuff around with it and if you made a boo, boo and stepped on the toes of one of the templates, the Mitel Gods will come down and smythe your mail server to damnation .... oops ! Was that a Monthy Python Movie ? :)

Kelvin,
Didnt you sacrifice a young buxuom virgin to the Mitel gods this morning?
My SME works that good that I only have to have one sacrifice to the Micro$oft god for my Windows 2000 Server :-)

Well thanks guys, I'll have a read of the book.
No sacrifices needed here, just the odd reboot threat, or if I'm feeling really nasty a threat of installing wyndowz .net server.
