Post by: Gordon on April 08, 2003, 02:13:18 AM
Charlie
We have built a workng driver for the above card for both 5.1.2, 5.5 & 5.6. Should we email it to you for hosting on the contribs area?

Any chance you could please also email it to me.  It would also be good if Charlie would host it as contribs.org is becoming a central focus for downloads.

Is it the same driver you used for 5.5 as you said it had problems under 5.6

Best Regards

Hey!

Could you also e-mail the driver for me - I would love to get my Tekram to work under SME 5.6 - Also with installation instructions if possible - I am not a supershark at Linux yet!

Cheers...

I have had both the drivers working on my machines perfectly.  How ever you will need to add the two lines in the how to in /etc/rc.d/rc.local to install at boot time.

As has been stated here numerous times, there's never any reason to edit /etc/rc.d/rc.local. Search here for alternatives.
