hi,

i tried configuring it under the Operation Mode, i used Server & Gateway, i think that was the problem and i tried Private Server & Gateway its ok now, but i dont seems to understand what the "Private" means.

hello again,

using Server & Gateway Mode or even Private Server & Gateway Mode, i get this error when i access website:

Apr 19 10:22:43 e-smith named[2945]: lame server resolving 'WWW.E-SMITH.ORG.xx' (in '.'?): 198.41.0.10#53

When the server is set for Private the web server can not be seen to anyone outside the local network meaning the mail server will only work on the LAN and can't be seen on the WAN. It also sets firewall rules to drop packets for certain services such as ping and etc.

Unless you do not have a router running NAT for a firewall there is really no reason to use the gateway mode at all. Server-Only will work just fine.

Hope this helps.
