Log in to the server not using root. Use your admin login.
Select Option 2: Configure this server
When you get to the screen titled "Select Master DNS Server Address this is where you enter the primary DNS Server Address. Continue through the screens and after the server makes the appropriate changes you should be in business.

You shouldn't need to put anything in the DNS field. Only enter that if it won't work without it.
If you want to add hostnames for the LAN that aren't valid internet FQDN's, use the Hostnames panel of Server Manager. "mail" and "www" will be setup by default, and may cause problems with accessing your ISP's pages if you aren't using your own domain name. Edit/remove them if necessary.

i removed the dns in the sme56 configuration, but still i cant access to some site, my log shows LAME errors, in my workstation place the sme56 local ip address as dns still didnt work, where it should be, and i add dns given by my isp in workstation, this is the only time that its working. (my sme is setup as Server & Gateway / dial-up with continues mode / with static ip)
from my sme i login as root and tried to ping "e-smith.org" i get no reply
[root@e-smith root]# ping e-smith.org
