Hi, I need a searchengine for a site, and based on capabilities claimed, I have narrowed it down to these:
Macurious Spider http://www.castreal.com/macurious/spider/
Turbo Seek http://www.focalmedia.net/index_tb.html
Webglimpse http://www.webglimpse.net
Does anyone have any experience with any of these?
It seems that Macurious spider and Turbo Seek use MySQL and generally have smaller databases, but webglimpse supports more OS's(Which could point towards easier maintainance?!)...
It is for a business portal and the directory should be able to spider from the current 1500 to over 100000 different websites worldwide.
Any advice on searchengines appreciated, thanks
Andy
