Well I have succeeded in screwing something up. I was merely trying to ftp files over into my primary ibay for a new website. The pages would not come up, I kept getting the default page, so I renamed that. Still no luck.
I then figured that it was a permissions issue. The files were transferred to my user account on e-Smith, then via MC I moved them into the primary share. The owner and group were both set to myself so I did a
chown -R admin:shared /home/e-smith/files/primary
&
chmod -R 640 /home/e-smith/files/primary
At this point everything was the way the original file was, however I am not able to view ANY of my web pages.
Please assist.
