I have two Linksys LNE100TX cards that show up in the supported list, but e-smith doesn't seem to be able to detect them. I had a look at the RH hardware compatibility list, and these cards are supported with the tulip module. I can't seem to get them to work even when I specify this driver. Is this problem related to having identical cards? I do have another supported card in another machine that I can swap out if this is the case.
Puzzled....

Do you use ISA or PCI cards?
The ISA cards are not plug and play and nearly not supported.
I bought the PCI cards who where in the supported list.
Hope this is the right answer.

I had the same problem. I bought these cards installed with no go. took them back and bought another pair of "supported" cards still no go. Some advice: Go with unsupported cards they installjust fine :-). I bought 2 used 3com 3c509 cards and they work great. Just a couple of extra steps to take but nothing painful. I have the instructions if you need them or you can search here for them.

The Linksys cards are PCI. Some digging brought up the fact that the rev 4.1 cards are _not_ supported in RH Linux 7.0. Not knowing how to recompile new drivers, I swapped these cards for other ones (a 3com and a dlink). Things are wokring now.
