Download the SME iso on a Windows workstation and read the data rate!!!!!!

Unless I'm mistaken, if you do that from ftp.e-smith.org you will read about 10-20k / sec :)

That isn't a very good test as download speed with a highspeed connection is usually limited by the sender.
