Hi:
I have a customer with two gateways to the Internet. One is a SME 5.5 with two NIC's (one public, one private 10.100.50.254) the other is a satellite connection for a specific application (10.100.50.250)
The problem: PC 10.100.50.4, makes an ARP request for 10.100.50.250. 10.100.50.250 acks back with the correct MAC address. A few seconds later 10.100.50.254 replies with it's MAC address.
So, now 10.100.50.4 can't access the route it needs.
Any thoughts????

check out 'hostnames and addresses' in the server manager.
Make an entry which fixes MAC/IP together always.
